Do you work for Gawker? I know some of you do, so don’t lie to me about this right now.
I once wrote a comment on Gawker and stupidly used my gmail address without understanding it would become my screenname or whatever. Someone replied to the comment with an @symbol with my first.last name following it. I’m going through the process of googling my name and taking whatever measures I can to get it off the Internet and found this out.
The only thing I could do here was change my screenname, but the @reply still remains the same. According to the Gawker guidelines, the comment can neither be edited nor deleted.
Yo, for real? Really for real? Is there nothing I can do to get that comment either off the site or disassociate my name in the other person’s reply?
