Massachusetts decriminalized marijuana. If you’re caught with under an ounce, and you’re not driving whilst stoned, you’re merely issued a $100 fine. Anyone who smokes weed in this state knows that there are no repercussions for not paying that fine. NONE. And that’s EVEN if you give your real name. Because the fine is not given for a criminal act, you may have the right to not even show your ID to the cop. Say your name is Lindsay Lohan, that fine is getting written out for Lindsay Lohan.

Under the TOWN fine, the TOWN can take you to COURT for not paying the FINE they issued on TOP of the fine they will issue through the state for a fucking substance THAT ISN’T EVEN A CRIMINAL ACT TO OWN OR USE.
