Dead Sea “Do-It-Yourself” Kit:
Bligh is one of my BSU buddies here on the trip and now a Tumblr convert. Last time I recommended you follow someone it was Chris and now he wields his Tumblr Power over me every time we hang out. So like Bligh’s blog, but not too much, and also unfollow Chris.1) Get a kiddie pool.
2) Get lots of NaCl, or “salt,” for the layperson.
3) Fill the pool with uber-hot water (to allow for maximum solubility).
4) Dump the salt into the pool until the water is saturated, and then dump a ton more in.
5) Sit down into it on the hottest, sunniest day of the year. (Or, make cosmetics from the salty water and charge a buttload.)
Congratulations! You’ve just replicated the Dead Sea experience!
