Tell me about your best hug ever.
I knew I missed my kid brother and nephew when I was in Isreal, but nothing could have prepared me for how much my heart swelled when they surprised me at the airport. After 25 hours of airports. airplanes, shuttles and waiting in more lines than should be legal to exist, I heard a little voice say “Hi Caragh!” I looked down and saw Liam, we started to hug before I even really registered that my little brother was there. A smaller voice mimicked “Hi Caragh!” and two smaller arms wrapped around me. Liam hugged me spontaneously for days after. Matty, always a little more tempormental, always a little more withholding of affection, resumed his usual attitude the next day, but as we left that airport he looked up to me and beamed “I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you!”
I didn’t know how much I could like humans until those little dudes came around.
